About
EDUadmin is an administration suite for university academic operations. Staff submit and process grade change forms and course registration and drop requests for students across campuses, and administrators manage the users, courses and student records behind them. It is a Laravel API with a separate React single-page app.
Challenges
Grade change and course registration requests carry a lot of structured detail: the student, the course sections, the semester and the reason. Each submission has to be validated, kept as history, and turned into a document staff can print or send. Student and course data also has to be loaded in bulk, not one record at a time.
Solutions
The Laravel 12 backend models forms, students, courses and registered and dropped courses, with an import controller for bulk loading and admin routes that require a verified account. Forms can be emailed as reports. The React frontend validates submissions with React Hook Form and Zod, keeps state with Redux Toolkit, lists records in TanStack Table, and generates branded PDF reports in the browser with jsPDF. It has light and dark themes and a command palette for fast navigation.
